At the end of the day, it’s not about replicating someone’s look I don’t think. I think you can waste a ton of time and money trying to do that and then it ends up being distracting for an audience member. I think what’s more important is to embody the spirit of that person, to understand their point of view, their persona, their characteristics, their mannerisms, their voice. Hopefully if you do that correctly the audience forgets everything else and just gets lost in the story.
