Our Green Anaconda, J-Lo, is going to be fed next Wednesday. Our keepers know she is hungry because of one very specific, funny, and terrifying behavior.

J-Lo is a picky eater, so every six weeks she gets a 40 lb piglet. She knows what 40 lbs looks like, give or take. And so lately, since she gets fed in a week, she has been responding very interesting to toddlers.

When a toddler or young child got near the glass, where her head was, she very slowly… opened her large mouth… and showed the children her gums. 

She wanted to eat them.
