I have to move to a city tomorrow (that I will live in for the next 3 yrs) and as somebody that has always lived in small towns, suburbs, and the country, I am ABSOLUTLY TERRIFIED

I had the same thing when I lived for 6 months in a big city. I’m a suburban girl, and like having the country right there where I can experience it. One technique I found that helped was to find the nearest large park, which most cities have, and get as far away from the streets as you can. Concentrate on the trees and the grass and the birds,etc. It does help recharge your country batteries.

This is actually excellent advice and I 100% intend to use it starting this weekend. Thank you!!
